We hope you have all managed to get a court booked on out new Padel court!

As a Club we are constantly looking to gain feedback and improve our offering so we would like to request that you take a couple of minutes to complete our Padel survey.

We appreciate filling in surveys can be a boring task but without hearing your feedback, it can be difficult for us to look at ways we can improve so this is a valuable tool for the Club and we would really like to encourage you to participate. As you will see, everyone who fills in the survey will get the chance to be entered into a prize draw to win a Wimbledon Towel worth £39.99 so well worth 2 minutes of your time!

We are delighted to announce that Padel court 3 is now available to be booked from Thursday this week. If you have joined as a new member from the waiting list you will shortly receive an email to confirm that your membership will start on Thursday.

Friday morning Social Padel will soon have 3 courts booked out for that session and will be able to accomodate 15 players each week so if you are keen to come to that please check back for additional places being released.

I'm sure you will all be thrilled to hear that works to install the eagerly awaited 3rd Padel court will commence this week. We will be starting to offer some memberships to those of you on our waiting list as of this week. Memberships will be set to come into effect from 1st April or when the new court is opened, whichever is the sooner. 

We currently have a very large number of people on our waiting list so we will unfortunately not be able to offer membership to all but please look out for an email as you will only have 2 weeks to respond before your slot is passed to someone else.

It's time for the Sundridge Park Padel Winter championships, which will feature friendly, enjoyable competition and be open to all of our Padel club members.

Following our Summer 2023 first championship, the championship features four draws: men's, women's, mixed and improvers.

Beginners: Level 0.01-2.50

Intermediate: Level 1.50-3.50

Upper Intermediate: Level 3.00-5.50

Advanced: Level 4.00-7.00

Top Ranked: Level 5.50-7.00

PADEL TERMS, CONDITIONS, AND BOOKING TIPS

THE SUNDRIDGE PARK ACADEMY SYSTEM

Since the 1st November 2021, our Club is following the 1 to 7 level system, which is in place in the majority of the clubs around the world.

According to that system, this is how we currently sort out our activities:

COACHING SESSIONS

Beginners: Level 1.00 to 2.50

Pre-Intermediate: Level 2.00 to 3.50

Intermediate: Level 3.00 to 4.50

Upper-Intermediate: Level 4.00 to 5.00

Advanced: Level 4.75 to 7.00

Competition: Level 5.50 to 7.00

CLUB PLAY SESSIONS

Club Play Session 3: This is a session for players between levels 2.00 and 5.50

Club Play Session 2: This is a session for players between levels 4.00  and 6.00

Club Play Session 1: This is a session for players between levels 5.00 to 7.00

If you want to increase your level, you should play open matches.

It is essential to respect those levels and change them only by playing. In other ways, the level system will become useless.

To help you all get to grips with our new app for Padel, we have written a quick user guide on all the basic features.

To make the most of the app, make sure you have added friends so you can organise matches quickly with people you like to play with and don't forget if you are not a member yet - give us a call on 0208 4649106 to organise membership so you can take advantage of the earlier booking rights and cheaper pricing on courts and coaching.

Start booking your court from next week using our new Matchpoint App system!

To add other people to play with so they can pay for their share of the court, you can find them in the friends section of the app. 

Add friends so you can find people you play with on a regular basis more quickly or open your match up to anyone at the Club of a similar level to you.

You can also send messages to friends directly via the app!
